Tareq Al Wattar

Tareq is the managing partner and CEO of Algol Invest. Born in Syria, spent his childhood in Syria and KSA, graduated International University for Science and Technology (IUST) in Damascus. Tareq started his professional carrier in Ernst & Young, KSA. 

Now Tareq is an accredited Tax Agent from the UAE Federal Tax Authority, and is engaged with PwC Middle East Academy to provide and develop trainings and trainings materials.

More so, Tareq has an extensive command of the GCC Common Customs Law and UAE free zones regulations. He further served renowned international and local clients including banks, telecoms, real-estate and construction, hotels and currency exchange houses. Tareq runs a successful business in UAE in accounting, audit and consulting.

 Maxim Kasatkin is the partner and founder of Algol Investments Co LLC. He has over 25 years of experience across Russia and Britain in the Finance, Banking, Brokerage, Construction, Oil and Gas, and M&A industries. Maxim has worked with oil and gas exploration companies in West Siberia as well as the world’s biggest diamond producer, Alrosa.
